EID 2008

To celebrate the end of Ramadan this year Fauzia and I went to Atlanta to spend time with family and to finally get a chance to say our prayers at the new Atlanta mosque.

Toronto 2008

Labor Day weekend, Fauzia and I traveled to Toronto to visit Kendra and Jeff at their new home and spend some time at Kendra's parent's lake house. We had a nice time relaxing by the dock and swimming in the cool lake water. We also took the opportunity to visit Fauzia's family. Shehla and Mo are expecting their first baby.

Fauzia's Parents stopped to visit us at the end of July, on their way to Canada. So we took them out to dinner to celebrate their 40th Wedding Anniversary and then we took them to Longwood Gardens.

SMART CAR - BEEP BEEP

This morning I had an early meeting at the Navy Yard so I rented a SMART Car to drive to the meeting! So I gave Fauzia a ride to work! front door service. We even had a convertible! This car was so small it is just big enough for two people to sit in and maybe a couple of bags of groceries in the back. It was fun to drive though and parking is so easy to find!

Texas Adventures

At the end of May Fauzia and I traveled to Texas to visit my family. While we were there we made some time to go fishing, we hiked to the cave dwellings and we even took a day trip out to Marfa to see the Donald Judd Foundation.

Well it has been a very long time since we last posted on our blog. Since many of you have asked what has happened to us, we decided to finally get our act together and post some new pictures. Since we last posted, we have been fairly busy. We have finally bought a house and also we have traveled to Lancaster, PA, Atlanta, and Texas.

Labor Day Weekend

Fauzia's parents came to visit us on labor day weekend. We had a wonderful time showing them around Philly. We took them to see the Liberty Bell, Independence Mall, the Art Musuem, and many other amazing historical sites around Philly.

Jaffer & Lina's Wedding

Last weekend we traveled to Atlanta to attend the wedding of Fauzia's brother. Saturday August 4th, Jaffer & Lina were married during a lovely ceremony held on the banks of the Chattahoochee River. Everyone had a wonderful time dancing and dining under the stars.

Friday evening was the Mehndi Party for Jaffer & LIna. It was an evening of dancing and fun including a special apperance by Elvis himself (Fauzia's Father)

Sunday we attended the Valima for Jaffer & Lina. Brunch was great and we had a fun time catching up with the family. Fauzia's cousin came from New York for the weekend.
